The Model HM-540 Sentry Remote Push-button Emergency Call Station is a one gang, wall mounted plate with a push-button for call activation. The Station provides a remote emergency call switch for common areas where a pull cord is not desirable. A DPDT-switch provides call contacts and a switch closure for activation of an associated dome-light. The push-on, push-off feature provides for call cancellation at the panel.

The HM-540 is connected to the input of a HM-610 Utility Input Panel, or a HM-617 Console Interface Card to provide a latching remote call panel. Typical wiring is with a single pair 22 gauge cable, but may require additional conductors if the switch is wired to a dome light, or similar device.

The HM-540 Remote Push-button Emergency Call Panel is a satin-finished stainless steel single gang plate. Maximum plate dimensions are 2.8"W x 4.6"H x 0.75"D overall.

Model HM-540 is flush mounted to a single-gang electrical box or plaster ring, or surface mounted on Wiremold 5748 or equivalents with a depth requirement of 1-3/4". Field wiring termination are by connection with stranded pigtail wire.
