DESCRIPTION:
The
Model HM-547LX Pendant Receiver monitors an apartment or area for an
emergency call from a wireless remote pendant. It will respond to
the pendant code that has been loaded. Up to 60 different pendant
codes can be loaded, causing the receiver to respond to more than
one pendant. An optional, remote programming panel (model HM-549) is
available for allowing the resident to enter pendant codes for
visitors.
Open field range is 600 to 900 feet to the point where
reception ceases to be reliable. This is without interference or
obstructions. The receiver should be mounted vertically with the
antenna extended away from the receiver. The receiver should be
located away from metal objects or structures and away from
electrical appliances and fixtures.
When
a signal is received with the proper code, the host panel is
triggered and an emergency call is sent to the Master Console. The
LED on the host panel will illuminate to indicate the call was
received at the master console. The pendant receiver is powered via
the host panel. It requires a 5 conductor cable and is recommended
to be installed separate from the host panel, towards the middle of
the living area. The host panel supervises the receiver's output,
and will supervise the remote DC voltage when used with the model
HM-569 End-Of-Line device.
For
all Sentry installations, extra conductors are recommended to the
smoke detector for the future addition of a Pendant Receiver.
The
receiver is connected to the smoke detectors DC power wires and the
2 extra spare conductors for alarm. A model HM-569 End-Of-Line
device is used to supervise the DC voltage and the receiver
contacts.
The
Model HM-547 Pendant Receiver is housed in a metal enclosure with
dimensions of: 17.5”L X 1.0” H X
1.0”W The 547LX is equipped with a 6 pin connector and cable
for easy disconnect. It will operate at 10
to 18 Volts DC. Current draw is 12 - 16 volts DC.
Load = 15 ma standby, 45 ma relay active.
