DESCRIPTION

Model HM-588 Terminal Board provides an easy and organized method for connecting power and data line commons. The HM-588 is usually used to connect two data lines from the console and one power supply to the wiring for up to 104 apartment host panels. Built-in circuitry features transient surge protection for both the power and data conductors. Additional devices reduce electrical noise. Each terminal board includes a fuse and an LED power indicator.

The Model HM-588 terminal board has 12, four conductor terminal blocks for connection to apartment groups. Two data lines are connected to six blocks each. A jumper wire can connect all blocks to one data line if required. The HM-588 is NOT intended for systems with intercom.

The HM-588 Terminal Board is usually ordered with every HM-535 Power Supply. The HM-588 and HM-535 should be installed next to one another.

The Model HM-588 metal enclosure provides a housing for the terminal board and its wiring. The housing measures 11" X 11" X 3½" and is supplied with pre-drilled mounting holes. Knock-outs are placed on all four sides to accommodate ½ conduit connectors. The enclosure has a hinged cover and a knock-out for an optional security lock.
