DESCRIPTION

The Model HM-658 Alphanumeric Pocket Pager is a portable, remote, annunciation device for emergency call and other building events monitored by the Sentry system. The Sentry console must be equipped with the HM-652 Paging Transmitter.

An unlimited number of pagers can operate at the same facility. Most Sentry systems send out emergency calls to all pagers.   Optional configurations can allow .announcements to pager groups, depending on the type of event.  As an example: Emergency calls and smoke alarms go to all pagers, door alarms go to security personnel, service request go to the maintenance staff.

The pager fits into a pocket or can clip onto a belt. The HM-658 is selected for tone or vibration, to alert the user to a message.

The pager will accept and store up to 60 messages for display and review.

Display includes current time, unread message alert, and low battery indicator.

The battery life is rated at 700 hours. The battery is a single, 1.5V, AAA-size, Alkaline type.

Operation is in the UHF band, 440-470 MHz.
