DESCRIPTION:

The Sentry Bed Cord Wall-Plate is a single gang, wall mounted plate with a standard 1/4" phone jack and LED indicator light.  The station provides a remote bed-cord emergency call switch for the Model HM-527 Host Panel.  Standard momentary bed cords with 1/4" phone plug (such as Sentry Model HM-672, HM-673 or HM-674) are used for call placement.  In addition if the bed-cord is pull from the plate a call will also be placed. 

Wiring:

The Remote Emergency Call Station is connected to the host panel with a 3 conductor, 22 ga. cable.  Up to 6 Model HM-671 and Model HM-541 remote stations can be "daisy chain" connected to one host.  Connections are made with prewired pigtails.  The last Remote Station to be wired to a host input must be installed with a EOL Resistor, Model HM-585.

Indicator:

An LED indicator illuminates when an emergency call has been initiated and verified by the Sentry Master Console.  

Reset:

Emergency call station reset is accomplished by pressing the CHECK-IN button on the host panel.  All emergency calls require this reset action to assure all calls are verified and all initiating locations are visited.

Panel Finish and Dimensions:

The Model HM-671 Remote Emergency Call Station is available in a high-impact, white, molded ABS plastic plate.  Maximum plate dimensions are 2.8"W X 4.6"H X 0.75"D overall.  The switch will not protrude more than 0.5" from finished wall.

Installation:

Model HM-671 is installed to a single gang electrical box or plaster ring.
