Sentry Legacy Emergency Call System Overview
The Sentry Legacy is a sophisticated emergency call/smoke warning system
designed for Senior Living Facilities from 20 to 4000 units, including Adult Living
Facilities (ALF's), condominiums, apartments and elderly housing complexes where special
resident security and assurance (check-in) is desired.
The basic system consists of a Host Panel with emergency pull cord
in each residence. The system can be enhanced by adding features such as resident
assurance (check-in), smoke detector in each room, personal wireless emergency pendants,
and security. All alarms can be extended to a pocket page or 2-way radio system.
The modular functions of the system allow the Sentry
Legacy to be
customized to meet a facility's specific needs. The system is expandable to permit
features to be added and upgraded without major cost.
The principle functions of Sentry Legacy are:
A master console monitors an entire building or
multiple buildings, then alerts personnel when an emergency condition exists. The
intelligent controller will describe the emergency and spell out the exact location on a
video screen, remote display panels, digital pagers, or radio voice message.
A typical installation is configured with a host panel in each residence. The host panel
can support: emergency call pull cords, assurance check-in, wireless remote call pendants,
smoke detectors, security alarm, dome lights, strobe lights, or any combination of these.

Any combination or all of these functions can be configured into a single system. Due to
its modular construction, the SENTRY LEGACY SYSTEM can also be customized to meet special
